Abstract
Although there are studies on remote work and productivity in the literature, the implications and productivity indicators associated with the adoption of these models by organizations still require further investigation. Objective: This study aims to investigate the feelings and perceptions of professionals at a Brazilian financial institution regarding the institutional work models, as well as the productivity indicators of the employees. This is a quantitative and qualitative research that involved the participation of 383 employees from a Brazilian financial institution. Quantitative analysis employed descriptive statistics, and the qualitative data were organized into semantic groups using the ChatWithPDF plugin from ChatGPT 4. The study found a predominance of positive feelings towards remote models, especially regarding their impact on quality of life and time and cost savings. Employees reported reduced stress, greater autonomy, and increased productivity when adopting remote work. The main disadvantages were related to the work environment, isolation, commuting, corporate environment, disruption of routine, and concerns about communication. The research highlighted the factors that contribute to the success and challenges faced in the implementation of these work models, allowing organizations to better understand how to optimize their flexible work programs. The analysis of the results presented an option for interpreting qualitative data, highlighting the ability of ChatGPT 4 to handle sophisticated natural language processing tasks, such as semantic categorization
