A integralidade na reabilitação física: Dificuldades e Estratégias para seu Desenvolvimento

Abstract

Integrality as a principle and guideline of the SUS (Unified Health System) is in the building process and there are numerous difficulties in its effective incorporation into health services, including the Physical Rehabilitation, making it necessary to search strategies for its development in daily practice. Objectives: Characterize the difficulties in the development of integrality and describe strategies for its implementation in the practice of Physical Rehabilitation services. Methodology: A qualitative research based on Hermeneutics-dialectics in which the data were analyzed by the Method of Interpretation of Senses and obtained through semi-structured interviews with the participation of 24 professionals from a Lucy Montoro Network Rehabilitation Center, in the countryside of the state of São Paulo. Results: The difficulties in the development of integrality listed by the participants are related to the management of the service, the care process, and the user. The polyphony and polyphony of integrality can be verified through the several practices listed to overcome the difficulties in the development of integrality. Conclusions: The Hermeneutics-dialectics provided the understanding of the context in a critical way allowing to describe strategies for overcoming difficulties that if implemented, they will result in networking with greater communication between professionals and services with responsibility for all.
