Abstract

Educational robotics is more and more present in the education of children. Curiosity to learn to create robots or to program them, generates new concerns between students that can be positive for learning certain mathematical contents, as can be seen when analyzing the literature on the topic. This study aims to analyze the opinions of the students of the 3rd Primary Education Degree about the use of robotics to teach mathematical content. The methodology used focuses on the qualitative analysis of the data and the sample was 25 students, and to do this study, the texts were analyzed using the WebQDA software. The results show us that all the students in the sample, independently of gender, are in favor of the use of this type of resources because they consider much greater their benefits than their disadvantages.
