Na área da investigação qualitativa, o papel dos investigadores mostrou-se fundamental durante o chamado período COVID19; vários trabalhos foram desenvolvidos a nível global contribuindo para o aumento do conhecimento. O momento atual que a humanidade atravessa mostra quão importante é a investigação de experiências, situações, fenómenos no seu contexto natural, dando espaço para o emergir de particularidades e detalhes para análise. É esse o campo da investigação qualitativa (IQ) e também do CIAIQ (Congresso Ibero-Americano em Investigação Qualitativa) que em 2021 está na sua 10º edição.
